It was a great birthday weekend this year.I decided to mix it up this year and instead of having one big function, I had a bunch of small celebrations with my different groups of friends/family. Friday Night kicked it with some friends at the house. My buddy and resident chef Lawrence made mash potatoes, tri-tip, and bell peppers and beef in a special tribute to Cowboy Bebop. Sitting around the dinner table eating, listening to music, and having great conversations/laughing…can’t ask for any more then that. It oddly felt “grown up”. My gratitude to Lawrence, Titus, Cel, and Steph for coming out and celebrating my birthday with me. Stay tuned for the 2nd part in the birthday trilogy coming soon.

To see what I did the night before (my actual birthday) Here’s the prequel. I spent it with some old friends shooting a lil vid to be cut soon!
Knight Rider, The Dude from Baywatch and Baywatch Nights, German Pop Superstar, The Original Nick Fury, and Cheeseburger and Beer lover. Imagine my surprise this morning when I walk into work and I discover that the channel is interviewing David Hasslehoff. In a span of 3 hours he already left his mark on TFC. 3 things come to mind. Keep in mind these are all true stories.
1. My co-worker walks into the bathroom to find The Hoff with his shirt off shaving. And he says “How You Doin?”
2. His overuse of the words “Mabuhay” and “Salamat”. God Bless him I mean shouldn’t we all be overusing those words?
3. The fact that I actually think some of the women in the company were swooning for him. Our news anchor called him handsome and that word wasn’t in the script. In response Hoff tells her that she is the most beautiful Filipina he has ever met.
